Baking afficionados

It's round though so @SauRoNZA could be right about inner/outer dimensions.

That would make sense so 32.5cm handle to handle 25.1cm diameter and 17.6cm high.

My cast iron pot is also 25cm, its a good size for boule aka round loaves but can't do other shapes.

Not sure that helps :) what is the 5.3cm and 3.6cm?
 
First attempt at Hot Cross buns :ROFL: at the shapes and sizes but they taste delish.

Those look pretty good. I had some incredible hot cross buns from a French bakery that sadly closed down last year and now I just have to learn to bake (and perfect) these things, because those were the best baked anything I have ever had.

It is irritating when these small family owned businesses close down. If you don't have a recipe, have a look at the one on Recipe Tin Eats, easy and tasty.

Will absolutely do it again. Was pretty damn amazing.

Would just find a better dish to bake it in, or rather a better way to compress it so it’s more square-edged as I’m not willing to cut away and waste that much just for presentation.

Not sure what you are referring to, but my kitchen so not quite obvious.

Oh I see the logo now. It’s a standing up magnetic knife block…first thing I would get rid of as it wastes such a huge amount of counter space in a tiny kitchen.

Ah, thanks. Yeah those knife blocks are cumbersome. Take up a lot of counter space.
