Bandwidth limiter...

Hi.. I have serious bandwidth problems.. Its only the 14th and I've used up nearly 900Mb on a 1gig capp.. I need a program that can limit my download and uploads to an X amount of mb a day.. Eg: Say I want to set it only to download/upload 6MB a day.. I have found programs that limit the SPEED of the connection but I want a program that can limit the actual downloads and uploads... I dont want something that makes you set limits for each program but the connection as a whole.. please.. i am gonna die if i get capped.. HeLp MeEeEeEe!!!!!!!! If there is no program available to help me.. please can u help me on how to do this manually

Will warnings do? (How strong is your will?) NetMeter is capable of issuing warnings when you reached a daily (or weekly, or monthly) limit that you can set.

1GB isn't very much. Do you get hard capped at 1GB? Is this ADSL?
Are you paying for this yourself? Can you afford more?

And as for "won't let you", how tightly controlled does it need to be? What will stop you from just ending the program?

unplug ur router from the phone line and then lock it away where someone else has the keys
