lol I saw antowan playing the other day on a 32map server. I tried to chat with him ,but alas he ignored me. Must be my nick :rolleyes:
 
Quick question, do I need to be connected to the net to play singleplayer. Cause last night I tried, and the first screen I get is the login screen, and no way to get to the menu "behind" this screen??
 
create an offline account? erm, there is a tab for creating one of those there somewhere, definately, cause when you play at a LAN you cant use your online account, duh... but it should be quick and painless

No, you do not need to be connected. Just create an offline account, i.e. an account local to your PC. That is in any case a good idea for single player, since I have heard that on some servers any messing around in single player counts when your TK stats etc is checked.

ahhh... RAGE was fun even if i wasnt on the competitive servers... good fun!

i did see some familiar faces but not many though...
 
Try Bf2tracker.com - I find it to be quite comprehensive, and your stats are available immediately, none of this waiting 4 hours (as the case may be) k@k.

Also try bf2sr.com - It's a program that can call up your stats - not as pretty as some sites, but it works.
 
:( 5200 odd points later and I realize wot I should have done:

Create accounts Drusky1, Drusky2, Drusky3, Drusky4, Drusky5. Play all characters evenly as possible. Experience 5 unlocks within 5000 points rather than within 100 000 points. :(
 
Yup - it's a flawed system, but it's never gonna be purrfect.
I want to hand me weapon back and try another one out.
You should be able to try them out unitl for about one week till you decide on the one too keep.
 
i fully agree you should be able to have a grace period

i mean like i took the medic unlock and i had to 25000 points for the next one i mean geez thats alot of points for one unlock
 
Apparently they're changing the stats calcs a bit in the patch. Apparently, they've realised that some of their stat requirements are a bit unrealistic, and are going to fix it.
Yeah, right.
 
i hope so i mean just to get to 39000 has taken me 4 or 5 months i mean by the time i get to 250000 we are talking 2-4 years
