It's probablee out of respect for the peeps that actually have a purple heart.
You are not allowed to carry on fighting after getting a purple heart (If you survived).
So - technically you cannot be awarder 2 of them.
Just a theory...
 
Hey, you guys noticed that thread on SGS about the stat padders who make life hell for anybody who wants to play the game?

first there is this guy and his made up oponent...

also check the team stats to view the medic heals and revives. its scary how good these people are. maybe i can pay them money to train with them and become as good as them

PS: They cant maintain a proper 0.5 K/D ratio with normal weapons, but with pistols and knives they have a K/D of up to 5.0... these guys are awesome.

any thoughts? :)
 
Hey guys, nice one on Saturday night, eyesuc'd quite badly ;)

While i'm glad to see server 1 is back up to 64 players, me and my poor little ADSL 192 have to go back to server 2/3 'cuz we just can't handle :P Wake 2007 is pretty cool though.

Lol. Who really cares about the padders anyway? It's not like it's an RPG, where we're leveling or anything. A guy with 5000000 points dies as quickly as i do when he eats a grenade. I get great satisfaction when I EARN an award or badge, they obviously don't.

Do you guys find some maps lend themselves to some kits better than others? I really struggled on Gulf of Oman and Mashtuur City as Support (trying to get the badge), but I got it on Karkand in about 15 minutes. GoO, I like AT and Mashtuur, I like Spec Ops. Assault is probably best for Karkand.
 
I know a guy here at work who says he knows one of the "Asault" guys - and that they have "dubious" methods of play. He tends to stay far away from them as a result.
 
no no, just talking about stat padding in general. if they claim this is not stat padding then i would love to get some tips from them. cause they can knive people and pistol people with the best of them!

these guys are even in the top 20 in the world with their stats. that is impressive! just a shame the 2 or 3 guys they kept killing arent real :(

if you look at those links i posted you will notice some rather strange things, VERY obvious strange things. but thats still OK, i suppose, if you stat pad. but if you play the game and make it unpleasant for everybody else then you are plain and simple a DROL. i wont go so far and point fingers at the turds out there, cause i generally try to steer clear of them. i LOVE going up against pork-chop. cause i get to kill him every now and them after he kills me like 20 times or so. THAT is fun. but, being violated for the sake of stats? no thanks.

you, erm, play with them and agree with their "tactics"?
 
I think I TK'd you over the weekend Eyesuc - sorry bout that :P
I tend to get a lil happy with C4 - or was it with the chopper?
I know I definitely TK'd someone when I was gunning in the chopper... the label showed up too late. GAH!

hehe, no worries, i only ever punished twice in 50 hours of playing. i dont like punishing, cause then you have less team mates.
 
i had some awesome rounds over the weekend with some great teammates :)
I generally play anti-tank, i like to believe im a specialist... but often, like "strike at Karkand" i play medic...

thanks for the piloting! was the first time i played gunner and i had a blast (oh dear, what a lame pun)! dont recall getting that many kills in one round before, so i owe you one! will wash your mercedes/bmw/rolls for free! ;)

Heh, I don't know about that, I think it was pretty even. Although, I do rememeber one particularly gratify snipe with an RPG :D

I'm playing as 'fodder doobiwan' at the moment - only being honest. It's annoying that you can't put special charaters in though, now everyones been calling me fodder . . .

Oh yeah TK apologies from me too, funny how C4 does that :p I think I ended a Sharqi on -9 one round . . .

but a finger to the stupid a$$ that ran infront of me (support - on full auto) and TKp'd.

a specialist you are! with AT stats like that you are legend!

i too prefer AT, but like having a go with medic and support as well. us 2 in a squad can cause some serious tank damage ;)

thing is, even 1 anti tank is vital in a squad. Too often i see a squad running away from a humvee, 1 rocket is all it takes :)
And the Auto-shotgun! my K/D ration went from less than 1 to over 1 with that gun.

I enjoy medic, but i prefer killing, and u get pre-occupied with healing. though the medic unlock weapon is actually nice.
The support unlock rocks! learning that one now.
 
thats my next unlock as well ;) support ftw!

hope i can woop rear with that gun just like the DAO-12. what a shotgun... *slobber* *druel* *urinate*
 
well medic isnt only healing i mean i can heal 10-15 guys a round and kill 20

that american medic gun with the 3 shot burst is awesome
then the ak 101 is better

the unlock just sucks
