Had same issue, uninstalled all graphics card drivers deleted graphics card the re-installed the whole lot, seems to have worked hasn't crashed since then.
 
i still cant play multi player says connecting then just sits there i tried campaign last night it froze on the loadscreen with an audio loop, so i lowered my resolution i was able to get in. I then tried this morning again same audio loop.

This game is ****ing buggy as ****.
 
I've uninstalled reinstalled.......changed resolution to lower....changed voltage lower.....underclocked card..........damnit all!!!

Far too hasty with their release. Should have waited until they atleast sorted out 90 percent of the issues.
 
I rage quit last night. Got gat vol of all the disconnects, crashes and reboots.

I'm patient though, there will be rapid patches and the stability will improve over the following weeks.

This game is going to be epic. Everything I expected it to be.
 
ya only battlelog give me problems, telling me cant find server to join sometimes, i just clicked the server how cant it find it??!!
 
Maybe list your cards because most of the people i know have had no issues with the game on both nvidia and amd.

Also put down the driver version you are using with said card.

I am loving the game luckily no crashes so far, there are either some very good players so local hackers seen a few 50 - 2 people. I just find other ways to kill them or get better :)

Anyways loving the game so far!!
 
I've also had a few crashes last night, some to the desktop and some where I got a BSOD and the whole computer restarted.

When the game actually does run, its spectacular, so just be patient while they iron out the bugs :)

I'm sticking to max 16 player games though, the lag on higher than that can be awful, but it varies. I played a 32 player game that ran smooth as butter.

I'm only on lvl 3 :o
 
People are reporting all sorts of problem with BF3 and it seems to be buggy. It needs a couple of patches probably. Today its overcast so I won't even try to connect as my reception is super crap from all the networks. I have to wait till the weather gets better lol
 
Playing with a i7-920, 8GB Ram, HD4870, 4MB adsl - everything on low. No problems whatsoever. Around 30-40 FPS. No crashes, no lag on 32 player maps. The 64 player maps lag badly. Not the greatest fps but will do until the bank manager approves my loan for up gpx upgrade :)
 
tip for the 384 line users

i updated my game with a 384 line unshaped, after that i distributed the copy to my family so that they dont have to wait 3 hours for a update to finish. Should try get some friends who already updated ORIGIN and BF3 . It really does save alot of time AND IT DOES WORK.

if you don't have friends / family who play games.... under what rock do they live ? :D
 
is anyone having a problem with the login server on battle log this morning?
I'm on WA and having no luck. ffs irritating.
 
Strange that folks are having so many issues. I'm running a core2 duo 8500 ( 6Mb caches @ 3.1Ghz ) and a old 9600GTX and although stuff is on low graphically, it still runs stable and ok.
 
Running an i3 1156 socket oc to 3.3......gigabyte gtx 460 1gb card with 4 gigs Ram on a 1Mb line. Haven't had that much lag actually....the 64 player servers are insane. Lol. Only issue I have are the crashes to desktop which could be 5 min into the game or 20. Like I said.....I've put everything to stock......rolled back drivers for the gpu.....nothing. Using the latest Nvidia drivers now. 285 or something or other. Anyway.....will wait it out. Add me though dudes....inn3rs3lf_za

Have you guys switched off any settings? I switched off motion blur, annoys me in a FPS.

What does the motion blur do?

Tell me guys i have an issue of the buildings being very dark.

So if someone is in a building shoot i cannot see them because it is dark, when i get in it lightens up. Anyway to fix it? It is not just a building but an area that is like a room it is so dark i can see nothing when i am on the outside and someone is in the room like area.

Eish.. That's strange man. I did turn off motion blur though, and AA is on lowest. But it still looks good and plays nicely so far. Had the odd tank bounce due to lag in Caspian border, but no lag on any other maps so far. Which GTS250 do you have? Mine is the ASUS ENGTS250 and is a beaut for its price....well when I bought it :)
