Battlefield 3

ill have a look at his drivers , you using the latest ? im not too clued up with nvidia anymore .. is it beta drivers or just the normal latest one from the website ?

Like I said in a previous post, I'm quite new to the online gaming arena but battlefield has just been absolutely amazing. Team play seems to make a huge difference though when it comes to winning and losing and playing with random people all the time does not help that, the guys are really not getting onboard the idea of playing as a team.

So my point is actually this, how do I go about joining a clan when I don't know any other players?

You need to check out a clans website that u wana join, and make an application. Usually they have some form of selection criteria and a 'trial' or certain things you need to do in game to be accepted.

Jeeze, the single player mission as copilot in the jet I think was epic!! :) made me challenge all the old flight sims I used to play back in the day albeit this is more arcadish style but very impressive nonetheless :D

People with mobile internet connections have you tries something like your-freedom.net? It can improve the sub-optimal routing by your provider.
But here's another interesting fact and I think it maybe a good reason why gaming is so crap on mobile connections. In UDP mode meaning if you make a connection via UDP like you do in gaming then all the users in a cell share the bandwidth. That means if someone is downloading or uploading it will slow your connection down. Another thing is one Station can only use one time slot. If it doesn't use the remaining bandwidth all that bandwidth is lost.
A unreliable transport protocol like UDP that maps to another unreliable transport protocol on the mobile network is not designed to provide maximum throughput, but minimum delay.

Ummm silly noob question :o

But I have a dozen unlocks for one weapon but I can't find where to choose them? I always spawn with stock standard and no choice?

Finally had a perfect 2 hours. No crashes, disconnects or lag. Seems the trick is 32 players.

i5-750, 5850, 2 GB RAM, Win 7 32 bit, 2 Mbps WA, 1600x900. On high with defaults. ATI 11.10 preview 3. WAGE servers.

I would look at getting at least another 2Gb Ram. Heard a few people having stuttering issues with only 2GB.

It's weird I'm getting 30 - 40 fps but it's not stuttering or anything its feels like I'm getting 60 fps.

Can people just check what fps they're getting and how there game play is and posting it here.

(to find out your fps go to console and type "render.drawfps 1" without the quotations)

I'm having more fun playing online than playing the campaign to be honest :/
