I LOL'd HARD !!!
Don't fret I am shocking too, I can fly the dam things but haven't worked out how to shoot someone down without crashing. Can't do two things at once it seems.

Gamepad / Joystick for flying as the controls are set separately. When you enter a jet or chopper you just take you Gamepad / Joystick and leave the keyboard and mouse for when you exit the Jet/Chopper.

I dunno. Can't play FPS or fly with a gamepad to save my life. My personal experience with BF is that chopper flying is much easier and much more controlled with a keyboard and mouse. I think gamepads and jets go together a bit better.
Was playing on Sunday and the other team was on 40 tickets, with us on about 300. There was a chopper available and I thought I would use the chance to practise my flying.
When I got into the chopper I got teamkilled. The guy got in and flew away.

I have to admit. I TK'd a teamie once. I was close to getting my 1300m + headshot. Sniper didn't know where my shots where coming from. Another sniper runs to me, camps next to me and try and take my kill. I stood up, looked at him and I was thinking.... WTF? Took out my 9mm and gave him a single shot to the head. As I did that, the enemy I was trying to hit realized where we are as this other teamie gave away our position. BOOM Headshot (1300+ kill for the other guy and a TK for me

Haha....I think in your case you would be able to argue justifiable homicide.
From where to where do you attempt a 1300m kill. I thought I had a pretty long headshot, but when I checked my stats it was only +-480m.

Firestorm. At the US spawn point you run back to where the map ends. then turn right to a little hill there. You lay down there and wait for a sniper from RU to go sit on that massive hill just before you reach the Garage. If he sits right you can hit 1400m + I got a kill there once, let me link my longest headshot quick.

damn, how high did you have to aim and was it with SV98 or that M98B?
it is sad how the guys who have 1500+ have to use friends to get it.

M98 (x12 scope)
You get the center cross hairs, then the one just underneath that and then the second one. The second one is about 1100 meters. So you aim just below the second cross hair from the middle. About 1/4 in to the last hair. That is the furthest I could do with normal play. If set up on that map you can do 1500+ easy. On the road running through the map, just get someone to stand on the road at the furthest side and you do it from your side. I checked the other day and I can aim on the M98 right at the bottom of the scope and still hit in game easy on that road.

I play mostly with the Holo Sights. Must really try that out sometime. I've just got the M98B and some attachments unlocked. I assume you're using the x12 scope and bi pod.

. Insane Trying to buy the Expansion, but stuck in origin check out. At the screen were it says the game has not been purchased, I can review the order. If I click continue it runs for a couple of secs, but then nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

well tbh, my proudest was my 696 and the reason being it was not from a "defensive" point of view.
I was being an aggressive recon and was trying to cap B on Op Firestorm coming from US side and a sniper was trying to get me from the big hill from RU side.
took 2 shots but I got him, but I doubt I will ever get it again.
trying to work for that damn M98B because I hate getting taken out so easily by that thing.
just find playing recon a bit tedious when on maps with armour
@killa you find that rockets do more damage to armour now? I get 1 shot and I immediately get the warning beep. think if I don't use Reactive I would get taken out by 2 easily.

Zolly your a star!!
Logging out of Battlelog via the website and then logging in again, with out Origin running, did the trick for me. Obviously some communication problem with Origin and Battlelog.
