Become an ISP... How?

Hello all

Not sure I'm posting in the right place but here goes..

How does one actually go about becoming an ISP?

Step 1 - MONEY.

Yes yes, step 1 also - ICASA licences.

Let's say I have these... How does one then actually provide internet services, particularly over fibre, to customers?

Where/how to buy internet for resale?
How do you manage client accounts?

Would of course have to have a support contact centre.

*No plans to build my own fibre footprint as yet, but who knows...

Main question here is, how does one sell internet over an infrastructure supplier's network.

Basically, how does one become like Afrihost or Axxess etc.

Also, are there any fibre reseller programess available?

Any insight appreciated.

this is such a broad question because there really isn't a universal definition of an "ISP"

1. Have money
2. Hire lawyers to sort out the licences
3. Hire network engineers to deploy the infrastructure
4. Hire sales people to get clients
5. Hire support people to retain clients
6. Hire accountants to sort out taxes
