Sigh. If only. I would be set if I were (I have trained a good female friend in my movie ways, and to go as often as I like :p. Ok, fine, I have to compromise and do the chickflick once in a while for her). But alas, neither of us are so inclined :(

I still do them. And it's fun (to me at least). Nothing boring about it, and if you choose to skip a week or two, so what. There's 6 other days in the week. And usually do more than just movies. I'll go to the Taalmonument and do a nature walk there with some cold beer & sushi later-on. Or Kirstenbosch Garden's. Go watch a live show and walk around a bit. Go to their restaurant there or have a picnic.

Or go to Houtbaai, there's a nice little place I've been at before than overlooks almost everything. Or this once I organized a whole "day tourist" thing where we went and did all the tourist things, like visit the Castle, go up Table Mountain, go on the Robben Island tour (Robben Island really went to **** btw, I was there on vacation several times during 95/94/96)....

But yea. Boring. There's the common ground of movies, but if you don't have that then what do you have? There must be 1 activity worth doing that's not boring to both of you that won't kill you after the first 6 months of dating... and no... sex doesn't count :p

1) why would you think my stating i don't need a boyfriend in december has to do with sex?

2) i have friends and i have family, that's the only company i need in december.

3) I plan on finishing a list of books this holiday, it's my time to relax as well as having to get a holiday job... :)

4) I'll be collecting and buying (with my money) presents for the kids in my road, so that's my little mission.

There are my reasons for not wanting a boyfriend in December, except 1).:p

Not being single rocks.

I can watch porn without chocking my own chicken.

I don't need to hunt for months to get laid. I have my food cooked for me, my bed made and when I feel like doing the freaky I don't need to even ask for it. And I always have someone to talk to about the stupidest of things, have someone to help me with the groceries as I fail at it. Having a best friend with benefits = EPIC !

AvatarS is a girl and she's plenty cool.

I sometimes go to movies alone and I have no loser-complex about it. I get to see the movie uninterrupted. I also only do the 10:30pm shows when all the mxit kiddies are home.
