Best ISP for uncapped internet right now

I'd say no for Mweb at least. I'd love a solid 2mb like my 1mb was.

Router is synced at 2 and 512? I think I'm going back to 1mb, hopefully Mweb sorts its 2mb out then I'll happily pay R160 more.

Also, another question - is the 2mbps worth it ? or will I still be experiencing mostly still 1mbps speeds?
If so I'll just downgrade my AfriHost to 1mbps for next month.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go with Cybersmart. Their support SUCKS and the uncapped packages are worthless. If you want dialup speeds then go for them.

Thanks for that, Grim, this helps. I'm still considering either Afrihost, MWeb or simply upgrading to uncapped with my existing ISP. Now whilst Afrihost's AUP explains that they monitor and throttle or shape their uncapped users, they also say that they never throttle or shape their capped users. So for the same price as a potentially-throttled uncapped account, I could opt for a 15Gb cap, which will supposedly not be throttled. We don't download overly much, although I fear a larger cap or uncapped account will be too tempting!

Decisions, decisions :D

If you're only pulling 15gb a month then I doubt you would be shaped either way.

Correct, but the point is that with an uncapped account, it would be easy to go nuts and start downloading so much that we'd be throttled before the middle of the month, LOL
