Hey Guys

Vumatel, just wired up our neighborhood and I wanted to know which ISP on their network would be the best. I have heard that Cell C is quite good, but any suggestions would be awesome. Also looking to do bit of international gaming as well :)

Cool Ideas all the way

I went with WebAfrica for the 'free' goodies - R1710 Vumatel fee, R999 activation fee, ac router, up to 2 free months billing.

So far, so good - will review just before my 1 year anniversary.

I'm assuming this all comes with a contract?

I went with Cipherwave Home-Connect, and cannot complain about service at this point. They want you to use their router, but you can request them to forward all internet traffic to your own router, and have them disable their WiFi.

month to month, but being with them for anything less than 12 months, incurs you a penalty.

So I was checking on Vumtel's pricing portal

Crystal Web and Cool ideas are the best price but I see that Cell C does the installation for free!

I was then thinking that I could get Cell C to do the install for 1 month get them to foot the bill and then switch over to Cool Ideas. Has any one tried this?

Trying to be sneaky...

Cell C has a clause that says if you cancel in my X after install, you will pay a penalty
