Hi Guys,

thought id try to understand something,
Ipad has BT, android phone has BT, can "see" each other perfectly, pair and everything,

but how to transfer files from one to the other? tried numerous ipad apps, but they never see my android phone,
cant use airdrop as thats apple only? and as this is my (first and only) IOS device,
and yes this miracle is updated to IOS10.1 latest and greatest with all the bug fixes

so far I tried,

bluetooth share centre
bluetooth app box free
bluetooth photo share
bluetooth u

anything else I should try? I want to not use wifi if possible, as what is then the point of BT on the ipad?

If Bluetooth U doesn't work, there are perhaps further cuts in the BT network layer.
Once again, Apple Bluetooth was designed only for listening music.
What Bluetooth profiles are supported in iOS 10? For transfering files the best is if it would support PAN.

makes sense, as nothing works and on my android phone all I can see under profiles is internet access,

so its basically impossible, yet another reason to be disappointing in apple,

I said it before, and Ill say it again, what is the point of apple?
its expensive and doesn't do much actually.

But hey its stylish! And its expensive which creates an image that you are DA MAN!
And the isheep favourite: Its so easy to use. It just works.

so people agree with me then?, its stylish and expensive and not much else really,
throwing money away never looked so cool....

why buy it though? what are people trying to prove? they know "technology"
or is it just that a status symbol? thats very expensive?

I really cant understand people who actually spend money on it? as in my previous thread, it just seems wrong....
