Big problems with Rain upload speeds

MyBroadband has received numerous complaints about poor upload speeds on the Rain network, which was confirmed by MyBroadband’s own network testing.

One consumer informed MyBroadband that he has been experiencing very slow upload speeds since Tuesday.

“My upload speed used to be 12Mbps or faster, but it has dropped to 0.28Mbps,” he told MyBroadband.

Yup, might have to do the same. Luckily Vumatel is busy rolling out Fibre in my area, then bye-bye RAIN and your crappy network...

Since RAIN mobile launch fixed LTE has gone down the drain. Shaping Netflix to 6mbps during peak viewing times. Ridiculous.

Okay, so I have never had problems, and now suddenly I do....and this is the response from the CEO. Nee wat Mnr Roos, you need to start an insurance company again, as this sounds like a claim repudiation excuse you would use in insurance... You need to get some people with half a brain cell to start advising you, coz at this stage you are not only bashing your and your company's name with a plank, jy bl!k$em dit with the whole TimberCity. You have issues in your uplink carrier, you either need to increase bandwidth or start doing uplink CA on the eNB to resolve this issue. Otherwise, check your core, you might be running congestion due to switch congestion or even backhaul limitations.

Got a Rain sim this week and even though my DL speed is good, my upload makes the connection unusable for work.
