Hi

I've heard different things from cellc representatives, so i'm wondering what other peoples experiences are.

On a control chat 150 contract, i will get a bb and R150 airtime.
Can the R59/month for BIS be subtracted off this R150?
Or will i have to pay that on top of the 150 to get BIS?

@pantoffels, a control chat package doesnt include BIS. only R175 airtime and 100 sms. Only on a Casual Chat 100 for R169 or All Week 100 is BIS inclusive. -DM-

Thanks for the reply.

No i realise the BIS charges are not inclusive.
But is it not possible for the BIS charges to be deducted from the R150 airtime i would get every month on contract.
Instead of paying an extra R59 on top of the R150.
if i was on prepaid i would upload R60 airtime and they would deduct BIS charges. or at least i know VC would.
why would the same not apply to contracts.
or is this too logical for SP's to follow

Yes it is possible

Hi Pantoffel,

This is possible - i.e. to use your allotted airtime to activate BIS.

Dial *147# and follow the prompts. I do this on a monthly basis, but I recall there being an option when you set it up the first time to have it as recurring.

PS. Last month I had some issues when going the *147# route, and had to call through to the call centre to get this activated.
