BF 4 Network Issues - Update and Conclusion

Good Day Gentleman,

After a full month of follow ups, phone calls and investigations, we still to date don't have a solution to the above problem and the news doesn't get any better.

Long story short,

"I can assure you that we are trying to solve the problem, but it's next to impossible as the BF4 ports are constantly changing (so I have been told from our CEO and Core engineers) and we are not going to open and allow all the ports across the Internet to have free reign over our network or you (the user) will have major speed issues as everyone will hammer their links at full tilt and no one will enjoy the experience.I know that this may not have been the response that you were looking for, but it's the sad truth."

"Hi

As discussed, we are unable to test with you, or make further changes until late next week as our core internet specialist is overseas.
I have made M****** and J***** aware of your situation and the views you have expressed.
My greatest apologies, but there is nothing further I can do."

.....in short we can not fix this issue,we don't want to fix this issue so go **** yourself.

My hands are clean, when contract is done im out of here.............****in disappointing and very unprofessional

Wow this sounds SO familiar, almost like a copy paste response to what they did with my Seedbox.

They added the ip of my seedbox to the P2P group, now I get less than 1gb per night from it download between 10pm and 6am.

How does this happen though? My torrents run fine during the night. I don't use it excessively though. But when I do torrent at night, wake up in the morning it's done. Can do a few gigs per night easy.

If you're not happy with your Bitco connection, then cancel it. You do not need to wait for your contract period to be over. They could not deliver the service that they advertised making your contract null and void.

They will not allow that, as they are still classifying BF4 as a problem "they can fix".As it stands BF4 is the only game with issues as for the rest they are operating perfectly.Isolated Incident.
Due to EA/Dice having changed their connection protocols, but it gives you a good indication what type of company Bitco is, as they are not keeping up with the trends and this change has caught them with there pants down.Unprepared and reactive!!

The service link by the way is perfect, performance, stability etc everything works flawlessly, it is just BF4 which is the main reason why i chose Bitco

If they do allow me to cancel my contract they will more than like charge me a huge cancellation fee!

Doubt they would. Garth and Mike have been more than willing to cancel contracts which they could not deliver as promised. PM then and ask. Sure they'll give you an opt out option.

Opt out never,I have decided to keep the service until the end of the 12 contract and utilize for P2P torrents, Streaming, Xbox One updates as they are pretty large, which will be for the games that do work, as for BF4, I will reinstate my Telkom Mobile LTE and utilize it for BF4.

It is quite sad, the idea of a company has to cancel a contract because of their incompetence!:(

@Gezza@Pitbull

Are you guys wanting to get rid of me:), getting tired of my bitching and moaning, these days if you don't bitch and moan nothing gets done Im sorry im not one of the complacent individuals that sits back and takes **** like this!

We are paying good money for a premium service and this is how you get treated, accountability?
You must get what you pay for!

Put yourself in my position?

Cancelled mine because my CS:GO was running very badly. FUP with P2P networks is also a total mess up. Couldn't play a lot of other games until after 6. And don't get me started on their 24/7 support promise.

In my case and a lot of the guys on the forum it is just the BF4 issue and what makes it worse is the attitude and manner it is being dealt with.

Well I have had my say........last post.

Not at all. The whining makes changes to the network I also benefit from. I support critical feedback. I also want to give BF4 a try. I just can't now obviously. If/when that changes I'll give it a go. I was just answering you question above :p o and I think Gezza already cancelled. I might be wrong though.

I have cancelled yes. They are deinstalling at the end of the month.

I was very happy the first couple of months. I only started playing CS:GO a couple of months ago when I started to see all the issues (packet loss etc). I've also lodged a complaint to asasa about Bitco advertising their 24/7 support. Don't think anything has happened as of yet.

Has anyone had an installation this week, somewhere from Monday until now?

Reason as to why I'm asking is that my installation was done on Monday, and I'm still waiting for a call that the soaking has been completed.

Before someone jumps me to it - I'm aware of some issues that customers are having, but I'll be using Bitco for basic home use and not gaming.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.
