Aah lucky , got the WRT54GL as well :( . Would have been great getting the e900 as it's 300Mbps and sure as hell alot more aesthetically pleasing than the blue and black boxy WRT54GL :P
 
Hope the 27k signatures would do justice to the service I got from Bitco. Think of it as 27k free adverts :p

Yea, his name is Shadrack, him and Ronald work together. They are Awesome and very Profesional. They also did my installation.

That is what i am working on with Garth,My nabour is very friendly and he has no problem for me putting the dish on his house the only thing is to get the cables to my side that seem to be a big hassle.But i am shure we wil be able to figure out a way to make it happen:D

they are still busy.. they have to use different setting and not be default tower settings

Exact same thing happened to me on my high site. Poor Shadrack was trying all kinds of things. They just refused to leave till it was sorted. They started my install at 10:20. Left my house at around 18:30.
 
Why is that? Surely the settings are standard for a certain tower.

From my limited understanding as per his explanation: Bulk of the towers have a standard configuration. Some towers need a different configuration. They use Dropbox for the settings. However for some towers the settings would not be the correct ones and he won't have it in drop box so it needs to be configured manually.

I think in my case I was smack inbetween 2 high sites. They prob had the setting for the one when they came, but got better reception from the other?

Ok, thanks.Nice to know.

My order was processed today just awaiting a call from tech guys. I'm actually smack in between 3 sites...
