Hey guys
Just an update... BitCo did tests and it was discovered that the tower I am connected to is congested (as previously posted). They have installed 2 new towers and over the next 4 - 6 weeks, the situation will come right. So let's wait and see.
Atleast the issue was not my side as previously suggested.
Will keep you all posted.

Yeah something is seriously up lately and it seems like congestion, I haven't been able to stream hulu in over a week without it buffering every 30 seconds.

I've got a question to ask all Bitco Home users.... Has anyone got a link to a highsites that is great than 5KM? And has got a solid stable link?

Can't speak for BitCo but at the office we use the same 5Ghz Rocket Dish (with shrouding) with a RocketM5T radio and we're pumping 100Mb/s FD over 19KM LoS.

Yeah...exactly @Icbxx.... I'm 5.5km away and their refusing me and another potential install !? -Perfect Los and No fresher zone interference and there is good signal levels!

Then they definitely won't let me connect to that tower. I'm 7.5km from there. I can see the tower from my place though. If it is their tower I'm seeing though.

The radius's of the circles on their coverage map seems to be around 8KM.Hi Ryder_JHB,
Our coverage map takes about 48 hours to update so you should see it soon
you are correct, the tall tower in front of Clear Water Mall is one of the sites you can connect too
If you can see that clearly from your roof and you are within 5km line of sight.....its your lucky day

I'm sorry to hear about your problems Gezza.
I'm however glad to say that I took a drive through our complex yesterday and found two houses with the little dishes both pointing towards the tower there by Beyers Naude. And I've definitely got better line of sight than those two houses. So I'm feeling very positive now.

I feel sorry for the guy who had his appointment after mine. They were at my place till way after dark to set-up the Switch. The cloud settings was not the correct one for my tower and the poor guy was doing it manually and struggling his arse off. They got it done in the end

Yes, I think the lady said they would come anytime before 12..although I couldn't really make out what she was saying (bad line)
