The target just keeps moving! I see Voda has received this for testing any news on availability on the MTN network?
Cheers
I'll email Midrand warehouse and will advise ASAP
Thanks MTNDD
This phone will only be available in 2007 some time

Damn! Do you know if there is pricing on the 8700 yet? Might be worthwhile buying this outright and then doing an upgrade next year.
Hi MTN Dude, any date yet on when the 8700 (can't say new anymore) will be available on MTN??
Have you seen the pearl? I'm holding out for that one now. Thanks for that. Any updates will be appreciated.
The whole thing is pretty small but thats what appeals to me atm. The keypad seems to be the same as the 7100 series so it will take some getting used to.Just had a look at the Blackberry site, looks good but is the keyboard not a bit small??
When is this expected in SA???

As for when it will get here - who knows. We've got a t-mobile blackberry contract coming up for renewal soon so I might get it in the states if they're not available here.
I've been playing with a evaluaton version of the Blackberry 8707 so far it doesn't connect to the 3G network using a USIM only a 32K so that needs to be sorted out other than that it's quite a nice device - Will report back on any further issues.
On the feedback on the 8700 I haven't recieved feedback from Midrand as yet

Can you please chase those guys in Midrand on the 8700?
Just been informend from our overseas head office they want us to get 8707, so that we can roam in Japan on 3G, will the 8707 be available on MTN anytime soon?
