Blackberry App World

Doubt that. The reason it isn't available is because SA isn't 1st world enough for RIM. They are slowly rolling it out to the rest of the world though

in the meantime check out the mobihand app store app.
it's very cool, has loads of free and paid apps, works in .za too.
 
Yeah ive tried it but all the good stuff is on the blackberr app store. Vodafone UK has it, dont see why we dont?

Still getting the legalities behind it(release e.t.c), i know that we have a team working on it , also keeping in mind that it has not been released elsewhere in the world .But know that i spoke to the guy personally working closely with RIM to bring it to SA

exactly, how are you going to pay as not everyone has and can sign up with paypal some has CC and some dont .

Ive used paypal for years since I lived in the states till today. You can use credit cards, checking cards, debit cards pretty much any bank account actually as far as im concerned as long as you can provide the routing number or account number. Not sure what a person with no bank account would b doing wit a blackberry. In any case, if not through paypal then how else? Charge it to our vodacom account and then foward it to RIM?

i agree with you i have my paypal a few years now when i tried using my bank account for direct debits they said they will only use the banks listed on their site because Africa(nigeria rep precedes them) apparently is known for fraudulent activity
