Ok, so the measuring as I get up as not a great idea then. The breakfast/shower routine gives it an hour, so I guess that'll be more accurate.
I follow the instructions that came with the machine: I sit by my desk, feet flat on the ground, upper arm next to my side, lower arm flat on the desk, bottom up.
Ok, three days you say, let me see how it changes by the weekend ...
Fwuuuuu... 90/70 .... No wonder I get dizzy spells
Need to get weaker pills...

I went for my medical least week.... one of the things that the nurse wanted to know , was I on medication..... Why? Well my blood pressure was 170/90 ..... that would explain my chest pains and the constant hangover i have every morning when I wake up...
Friend in the LAB gave me the rundown on my tests..... before Doctor Doppies did..... Doppie slooked at my Blood pressure result and wanted to know if the nurse had used the electronic machine or the old fashioned one..... well it was the electronic one, "*** dit! " , he stammered back to me..... "That modern kark does'nt work, go back tomorrow and tell her to do it the old way....." next morning I go back, 140/90 ..... End of the day, I had to cut back on my salt and eat more fruit, especially piesangs..... three days later, my headaches are gone and so have the chest pains..... that blerrie salt, who would have thought, Oh! and I had to ditch the coffee....

2 months ago my Doc (a mate of mine) insisted on testing my BP - 180/110. Dangerous!
This morning - 117/78 (66)
What are you using now?Was 160 three weeks ago. Stressed and not living healthy and just switched to new meds. The lisinopril gave me side effects.

Amazing what pills, destressing and a healthy lifestyle can do.

What are you using now?
Zartan 100 which is Losartan potassium 100mg.
Awesome!
Now the challenge is to keep it up.
All too easy to regress to previous habits.
