Ended up playing Tammany Hall. Great quickish game which starts relatively easy and gets very complex towards the end.

Second game was Clans of Caledonia. My favorite game so far even though it took 1,5 hours to get the rules right it was so complex with many winning strategies but really fun.

I spoke to the others in the board game circle and 90% of the games here they have between them and said I should look into

- Brass Burmigham
- Brass Lancashire
- Gaia Project
- Everdell
- Terra Mystica

I like the look of everdell and I have a good list to work towards.

Played many games since making this post.

- Brass Birmingham 9/10 what a great game probably the most fun I have had getting stomped in a board game.
- Great Western Trails 9/10 Great game but it feels really heavy to the point where one game was enough but I was really satisfied.
- Tzolkin 8/10 Fun quickish game to learn/play but really hard to master and I have played this the most. My personal favorite even though other games are better.
- Clans of Caledonia 8/10 everything feels so satisfying in this game, gaining money, placing cows/corn etc, the clans/win conditions and traveling. My 2nd favorite game.
- Rococo Deluxe 8/10 production value is off the charts but the game is easy and even though there are many way to win only 2 ways pay off.
- 5 Tribes 7/10 Great starter game and fun but its one of those I should really play that again games while reaching for clans.
- Istanbul 7/10 Another starter game but if you know what you are doing can make the game very challenging for a more competitive feel.
- Inis 3/10 I hated this the production quality is great form the meeples to the board but I didn't get the point, you can fight but don't have to fight even though people don't want to fight. Was a bit of a mess and I need to give it another shot because I think I missed something.

Arrived yesterday
- Dead of winter: The Long Road
- Arkham Horror

We're pretty busy so currently just paying our Gloomhaven campaign whenever we get a chance. 10/10 game for us, although the setup and packing away takes quite a while

I'm waiting for a decent price on Gloomhaven or for my cousin to come through in June (Covid permitting). I don't see the R3500 price tag from Takealot as a good deal considering I almost got a copy for R2500 in December, I was like 2 days late.

I'm very excited to get my hands on that and I will be getting inserts for it just so the setup is a bit easier.

Got ticket to ride for Christmas. Played it a few times and have enjoyed it so far! Codenames is also something I got recently which is fun.

I got ours in 2019 on BF. I also got the "Jaws of the lion" this past xmas but we haven't even opened it. It can be played as stand-alone or expansion

A Few more games I have played

- Dead of winter: The long road: I loved this game we tried it 4 player and did a 2 player co-op both ways were great but the learn to play aspect of the game is extreme. This is in my top 5 favorites. 8.5/10
- Arkham Horror: Not my favorite this is one of the games where I read the rule book more than play the game, the rulebook is badly written and didn't have enough info in it so you have to google it and then people still disagree with the rules. I lost interest quickly. 6.5/10
- Alchemist: Probably the hardest game I have had to teach because it just seems so incredibly hard until it isn't and then its a basic worker placement with a bit of deduction but was really fun to learn. 7.5/10

I got a really nice B-day present this weekend it was a nice 9kg box called Gloomhaven. Did the entire setup last night and learnt the rules but it was too late to actually play.

Very excited for tonight going on an adventure.

Ive heard mixed reports about 7 wonders and really good things about 7 wonders duel so its on my radar.

I generally try to keep theme and game from one another but with Wingspan I have a huge disconnect from the bird theme and I'm not sure why.

Although I am a big fan of table games, but I have not even heard of some of them, now I am trying to replenish my collection with new products, and I also play online browser board games like on the kevin.games.
