The word is rightly outlawed & I agree with it.
In my younger days I used to hear neighbourhood Afrikaans boys refer to passing gardeners as kaffertjies, wonder where they learnt that.

PK doesn't comprehend that. He's the type that sticks his nose into other peoples business and then gets offended when they say something he doesn't like. The comment was directed at his FRIEND...not anyone else. I have indian friends where we call each other names but it's OK as it's a joke between US.Not meant for anybody else;)
I think PK needs a PK.

And the African people that work here with me referring to themselves as the "K" word should I shoot their heads off too? And It's not only a Afrikaner thing.

You generalize horribly when you think it is only Afrikaners doing it. And I get a warning for calling a general group of people an animal but everybody can go down on Afrikaners that is oke?
 
We once bliksemed a white guy at tech for the exact same thing. He never did it again. These kids took it too far though.
 
I can appreciate the banter but I think this whole issue could have been avoided if the boy who said the offensive word apologised and explained the situation rather than headbutting.

Everybody in this country is walking around with a massive treetrunk stuck up their behinds. WTF do you feel you have to get involved in a matter which you overheard. Overhearing anything is just a breeding ground for making assumptions and you end up stabbing someone. Pathetic approach to life indeed.

Apologize to someone he wasn't even talking to and had nothing to do with HIS conversation. And then being pushed around..? Im sure the boy knew very well what was going on and decided to let his hormones do the talking instead.
