Boy stabbed over 'racist' hello

I doubt the kid would've been stabbed if he didn't make the racist comment. Are you telling me if you go into a shebeen and shout "k%ffirs" just because it's not aimed at anyone in particular it's justifiable?
It was a private, mutual exchange between two friends. Some retard just decided to take it upon himself to make it his business. How is that the same as walking into a public place and yelling at everyone you don't know?

This is another near fatal incident that could be avoided with a little common sense.
You are 17 you do not have common sense. Half your brain is still dormant and you are a boy so you are 2 years behind.

But when you do that you do not think the guy and his friends are going to ambush you with a knife later on. Maybe a bit of a fist fight again, that said if the head butt incident were bad were the principal not suppose to do something about this? So I guess that were a minor thing no blood and broken noses involved.

I think If i remember boys, This is all about ego.

Problem is knives are evident even in the classiest of schools, you hit the nail on the head though, the egos probably would have driven this fight even if there wasn't any racist comments made.

That would just be stupid. However:

These kids go to school together and he would have know the relationship between the 2 people involved. A better example would be this:

I work with people of all race groups, they know me and I know them. If I call someone a Natarel, Boesman or whatever it's all done in good spirit as I get what I give out. And yes, if someone from the outside hears it they will prob take offence to it. But does that give them the right to push/pull me around or Stab me later if I head butt the said person?

If I am confronted in a mature manner by a 3rd party over hearing our conversation I would apologize and explain the back ground, also that I meant no offence. But this leaves 2 problems

1. What does my conversation have to do with them
2. I should have taken care about the people around me who could have overheard me.

The end in the above matter does not justify the means.

School is not a private place though? This was overheard not told to was it not?

Yeah agreed, very little common sense at that age, unfortunately if you look at some of the responses here it looks like its lacking past puberty as well.

Who was the conversation directed at? I doubt it was the rest of the school. And why didn't anyone take offense at the other boy? Both exchanged the greeting after all.

Good question, it seems there were only 3rd parties around that took offense to the latter statement.

If you bothered reading some of the other posters, it seems that you cannot take offense to someone unless they are talking directly to you.

THIS ^^:)

Kids these days are just way to aggresive, this kid - 3rd party/stabber - probably had a bad night the evening before in dota or some such bollocks and ended up stabbing someone because of it. Hearing the word used prolly pushed him over theedge lol.

My personal feeling is that, the stabbing was un-called for and the kid should have the book thrown at him. However, use of such language, under ANY circumstances deserves a good beat down.

That sort of language is just not on. It does not matter if the guy he was addressing was his adopted brother FFS!

Strange how PK and R13... ran away from this discussion.

I think this discussion is just a little above their IQ cap :o

Ahhh the so called Pitbull questioning my IQ...
This sort of conversation is up your alley as a pit bull.

And Pitbull for someone of your intelligence to question others' IQ's is akin to the pot calling the kettle black... Get_it;)

Lets hope the word doesn't become as common as ni**er is over in the U.S. :o

Well I guess your input to this and other threads speak for itself. No need to prove it to myself or anyone else who read here. They can surely read for themselves.

I was merely asking what happened to the 2 of you? You post a comment and then run instead of answering the question... but that is a common trait from you
;)
