British series, mini-series and dramas .....

I passed on The Missing first season - not a fan of depressing stuff.

But I do enjoy Morrisey - can one watch Season 2 without watching Season 1 ?

Yes, it's a new storyline with [mainly] new actors.

Watching so many things at once :wtf:

British series ...

Finished The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret. Season 1 and 2 were brilliant. Season 3 was meh :erm:
Interesting that Season 1 started in 2009, Season 2 in 2012 and Season 3 in 2016. Wonder if there be another in 2019 hehe.

Now watching Dead Boss (2012). I give it 6 / 10.

On the last one of Injustice. Not bad - don't recognize the actors and the acting is just off A+ but the storyline is gripping so far. Hopefully the end is good.

Hmmm.

From ‘Misfits’ creator Howard Overman and full of dark humour and unexpected twists, this new comedy drama series follows the angst and exorcisms of an unlikely duo of demon hunters, played by Cara Theobold (‘Downton Abbey’) and Susan Wokoma (‘Chewing Gum’). When people die most go quietly into the night, but some have unfinished business: scores to settle, blood to spill, axes to plant in people’s heads… Most of the time these tormented souls walk freely amongst us, unseen by all but a special few – Amy (Theobold) is one of those few. Thankfully Amy isn’t alone. Enter Raquel (Wokoma). Armed with Wikipedia and a baton she bought on e-bay, Raquel’s a self-made demon hunter with a whole lot of baggage and an impressive lack of social skills. An unlikely friendship is born as Amy and Raquel attempt to navigate their way through the choppy waters of their early twenties whilst simultaneously kicking the ass of some seriously gnarly demons. What could possibly go wrong?

Crazyhead

And it has started ...

OK, you can give Injustice a miss. The end was meh... a let down IMO.

A British Ash vs Evil Dead ?

Actually from the trailer it looks like a load of shyte. But, will try it since it's from the Misfits creator.

PS, even the Brits cannot do better that Ash vs Evil Dead.

Will never get The Morgue episode out of my head :D

Watching Season 1 and 2 of The Fall again so that we can watch Season 3 (i.e. the missus hasn't see then yet).
Still as good as the first time around :)

Also half way through The Escape Artist. Pretty decent, but not ground breaking.

Have recently or are busy watching on showmax:

So far very impressed. A lot less guns in play than American TV especially in the cop shows.
