British series, mini-series and dramas .....

Yeah, but you have to admit, the aussie version of that show is the best there is in the franchise.
I completely agree with you. Unfortunately the Pom version is only half way through the season when the Aussie show starts and we never finish watching the UK show as it puts you in a coma (by comparison to the Aussie one).

Have you watched My Restaurant Rules?
No but thanks for the heads up, I'll surely get this.

My Restaurant Rules is brilliant. Agree about the Pom version of MC - it's a total snorefest compared with the Aussie version.

I see Prime Suspect 1973 has been cancelled. What a shame.

That sucks. Finally got around to watching the series today and would have liked another season.

Getflix and iplayer not working today. I think BBC are putting some renewed effort into geo- blocking

Watching this now:

Pretty decent acting and storyline. If you haven't watched, it's worthwhile. Philip Glenister is the DCI in it. John Simm is also in it (both from Life on Mars).

I see there's another one called 'state of play' with Helen Mirren in it... not yet sure what the connection is.

The 2009 movie with Helen Mirren is based on the original UK TV series.

Ohhh... so I have that to look forward to afterwards lol. That said, I think it's going to be hard to top the TV series... at least that's my take thus far.

VPN and iplayer working for me. Are you still having trouble?

They are clamping down but at the moment only asking if you have a TV licence.

Drives me nuts... First there is a glut of good drama almost very night, then they all end at once and then there is a drought....

I've noticed that the US cable companies don't bring out a lot of new shows during their summer so we should start to get more shows come September (both US and UK).
