We've become accustomed to sweet coffee. If we can get bf as close a as possible to real coffee why not.
Adding salt doesn't mean it's automatically salty. Salt is a flavour enhancer and also cuts down on bitterness.
We're not talking about adding salt but rather the salty ingredients that might make it salty.
Isn't it better to start with salt fee bbc and then move on from there?
Besides, excessive salt is always an enemy to long term health.
Besides who doesn't like a cup of salt free and bitter Expresso.
