I had to drive past Burger King today to get to the Waterfront, as all the roads are closed (crazy doing roadworks on Mothers day) anyways, the queue was insane. All around the block at about 13h00!!

Oh snap, did you just call tim182 riff-raff?![]()
So how long does everyone reckon it will be before the riff-raff finally leave (assuming they will at some point) and the waiting times normalise to 10 min so the rest of us can eat ? A month?
Real question is how long before BK turns **** due to not being run as it should after the honeymoon period...
What was insane is the waterfront digging up the main throughfare to make a parking garage and a new premises for PNP and now there is no more through road. But that did not deter, as every single spot in the breakwater and other garage where Toy kingdom is was chock-a- block. Then further insanity at the corner of the convention center where they did roadworks scheduled til tomorrow hopefully before rush hour begins.
I had to go through to Camps Bay afterwards, and by mistake took that off turn, so I had to go on the N1 all the way and then take a turn around again. Was not impressed.
So when and where is the 2nd one coming in Cape Town? We need something closer to Strand!
AFAIK the next three are Tygervalley, Grand West and Cavendish.
