Hi I need to run some cat5e cable to connect various points in the house. The blank covers are in place as are the pull throughs. I need to connect upstairs to downstairs and from that same point 2 bedroom. As I say plugs etc are all in place I need some one to run cables and fit adapters to cable so that at end of the day i have a socket in the wall where I can plug the network cable from PC in. Any one know of some business in Southern Suburbs Cape Town who does this kind of work. Small job I know:)

The house is wired (for but not with) telephone, tv and network points in each bedroom, lounge and foyer.Need some expert to pull cables through, crimp and fit faceplates. Any takers/

Bit more complex than DIY. Telephone plug has to be removed, cables pulled through and crimped. House is town house and floors reinforced concrete so has to follow laid down conduits. too complex for me:(

Cape Cables have everything you need. And if the conduits have "pull throughs" in place - it should be a breeze.

You could save a boot load and do it yourself quite easily. Just make sure you dont have cables exceeding 90+ metres. I don't know of any companies in your area that would take on a small job like the one you described, just PC stores who are hopelessly useless.

If you already have premade cables for desktops/laptops, all you need is a Krone tool, cat5e cable and keystone jacks (with face plates or surface mount boxes).
