I stream TV programmes using a laptop connected to my non-smart TV (Although the TV does have HDMI inputs) via the Chrome browser.

Do these Android TV boxes support Chrome or are you restricted to the installed software? Are they all pretty much the same or is there a stand out make?

Help a ballie out!

Hi, I've bought one to play with and must say very impressed! It has a nice menu structure, and then the normal Google Play app store, so you can download everything that you have installed on your phone on this box, it has wireless, Bluetooth, so everything non-cellular related works!

Yes it support Chrome, I even installed MS Outlook on it and read mail on the TV. (stupid idea) But just tested if it would work..
I got a nice small remote/keyboard combo with mine.
