Im trying to explain to my friend that he cant use telkom local before the international cap is finished. he thinks if he splits 2 telkom pppoe connections with route sentry that it will work. OMG im going nuts here!

He is NOT right. ALL traffic counts toward your cap untill youre capped.

So if you have one gig international + 10 gigs local, your first gig counts as international, wether you use it for local or not. after the gig is up (:D) you will be capped to local.

Dude you are an idiot - this is like the 5th thread i've seen where you give incorrect advice. HE CANNOT SPLIT BLENDED BANDWIDTH.

He first needs to use the international allocation before he will be granted his local allotment.

You claim you are an IT tech - sigh I fear for the industry if this is the standard that we are producing.

Yet you did not say that Jizzms - you said the complete opposite - If you aren't sure then please do not offer advice. Instead mention that you are not sure. I've seen you offer incorrect advice probably 5x recently. Do not turn the noobs on to the wrong path. It doesn't help them and it makes you look stupid.

J dude i honestly ment that the program does the splitting i didnt read the thread properly as to what he exactly wanted ? duh i know and so does any ADSL user know that cant be done,
 
On an off topic Jizzims does seem to have trouble with english,perhaps not a 1st/2nd language speaker? In which case he should really refrain from speaking and resort to pictures instead

lol thats what he didnt understand- but after i explained in person, and after i wrote a book on the subject of different types of connections, he began to understand- if he still wants to use international cap after that to download nzb's and play games on local servers then he's a damn BROOD! lol
