I am looking for anyone who can provide me with Telkom Legal Department contact info or someone within Telkom who can actually finalise my cancellation. I am literally at my end and am fully prepared to go through the expense of sending a lawyers letter.
I registered a cancellation for one of my two landline numbers, via the correct channel, with Telkom on the 7th of March 2018 for the cancellation to be effective 8th of April 2018. After multiple calls and battles, they are still billing me for the line. Everyone I speak to at Telkom tells me that they can see the cancellation request and that it is "stuck" in the system, nobody can seem to finalise the damn thing. As I pay Telkom vie EFT monthly, they cut my line and I have to go through the painful task of spending 45min on the phone to have the service unsuspended and then log another dispute to refund the reconnection fee. This has been going on now since April and I am fed up. I really want to take this further and I will but Telkom don't seem to have a legal department that I can send my lawyers to. I have telephonic recordings of each and every conversation I have had with Telkom and will make them public if this issue isn't resolved soon.
If anyone can help me, please pass on any details that can help expedite cancellation.
