Hope someone can help with resolving error 720 with my MTN E220. The error description is something like "can't establish connection".

This error only occurs after I've disconnected and try to reconnect again. So, I can connect fine initially but can't ever reconnect. If I restart my computer I can connect again but it is damn irritating to restart several times a day.

I've tried MTN support and they said it is a setting on my computer. The techy said I should run "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" in the cmd window, but this didn't solve the problem. A couple of colleagues also experience this problem, so I'm not sure it is a windows setting. I'm running Vista and the Huawei version is HOST01.11.17.01.01.67

Any suggestions? thx

You can try this program from this forum called rarepair, it will uninstall and then re-install RAS components which are used for network connections.

I had a similar error with a vpn, ran the program and it started working.

Thanks. Did you try it on Vista though? From the link you gave it sounds like it is an XP fix. But I may be worth a try in any case, worst that can happen is I have to reinstall the MTN software.
