Jail the guys for assault...I agree.
But the "victim" flashes his lights at them, drives around their vehicle, then stops dead, gets out of his car, and goes to the boot?
C'mon! He was getting a weapon out of the boot. Think he was just as agro and just took on more than he could handle.
There is NO other explanation for getting out of your car in the middle of the road and opening the boot when you have just had an altercation with another vehicle.

Looks like road rage. Shouldn't have stopped and he was reaching for something in his boot. Not right but blame to share.

Video is not very clear, going to be difficult to ID them.
Hopefully somebody heard them bragging and comes forward.

First thing I noticed is that the polo did not have right of way and jumped a red light.
If I saw someone do that and then flash me to move along, I would get pissed off too.

"Right turn on green arrow only"
Green arrow would not be flashing with the robot being green for the bus lane.

This^^, Guy jumped the light clearly. He should have just drove on, but wanted to prove himself a 'man'.

I agree with this. Funny how he throws the Black vs White card when he is just as much at fault.

Using Race is the new "Get out of jail free" card in SA!!

But that does not compliment the beating. Wrong vs Wrong.

Yep, losing a fight doesn't make you a victim, unless your black and those your fought were white

"Victim" was in the wrong to start with and should have continued to drive and not taunted actions. I don't condone any of these actions and the 3 thugs need to be put in their place and I am sure after this they will be caught and dealt with.

A question that comes to mind is with all these CCTV cameras Tshwane put up is that, is it as expected just another cash cow and of no value to stopping, helping solve and preventing crime.

Personally if someone pulls out in front of me and gets out of his car, acts and looks aggressive and reaches for something in his boot then I would probably want to beat the living sh**t of of him before he gets to me with whatever he reached for.

I swore at one taxi and was promptly boxed in by two other taxis and threatened.

This isn't a race issue, it is a South African issue. The average SA road user is a combination of aggressive, impatient and lawless. But you gotta play that race card tho.

Get out of your vehicle or curse people at your own risk. One of our fellow forumites recently posted his experience when he engaged a taxi driver over reckless driving.

It's easier to just drive off.

Bad driving on the "victims" part, and why did he not just drive away either after he had passed them?

He must face charges too. They might even be able to argue self defence.

Clearly a road rage incident, but we all know how this is going to be played out.

Less than 2 days ago in Cape town a Taxi almost took me out when he tried to take over cars in 2 way traffic. I was on the Sidewalk!! Believe me, when I say the rage in me was so high at that moment that if that taxi driver heard me swear at him and stopped his taxi for a confrontation I would have looked for the first brick I could find and plant it in his face.

Wreckless drivers that could cause someone their life deserves a good beating.
