I love my dashcam, at most now I hoot if someone does something wrong, I will just upload their crap driving to youtube later. But now realised I need a dashcam pointing to the back too, for the crazy things that happen from behind.

Had my own road rage experience this morning.

I wanted to stop and if she stopped too, just show her the video on my dashcam that there was a car in the lane that we wanted to join and that we had to wait, because yield sign and road markings.

C'mon! He was getting a weapon out of the boot. Think he was just as agro and just took on more than he could handle.
There is NO other explanation for getting out of your car in the middle of the road and opening the boot when you have just had an altercation with another vehicle.

Ye, it is hard to tell why anyone did what they did.

First thing though, he did totally ignore a traffic signal in a very complicated and dangerous intersection. I feel like he didn't even realise it, not that he deserves to get murdered for that but if we want to know how this incident happened... then that is the answer.

Then even though there was no accident, the two parties engaged each other anyway.

The guy got past the boys and then stopped his car and tried to get something out the boot ? Why ? Did he break down?
Then the boys get out their cars (another car gets involved) and assault the man and leave him to die.

Seems multiple people at fault but he paid the price.

Why cant they get the plates ? Even from another camera ?

Where are the screenshots of the boys faces ? I work in the area, I might have seen them.

Why did any of them stop? The point is a minor lapse in concentration in the traffic and you miss a light or turn in front of someone, and this type of response is somehow justified.

Well, if someone almost kills you with their inattentive driving (which is why one should give full attention when driving) and then dares flash and hoot at you as if you did something wrong, what would you do?
 
Black guy tries to go through red robot.
White guys stop in front of him and likely told him off.
Likely some not nice things were said from both sides in the middle of the intersection.
White thug reacted to this and kicked the back of the car.
Black guy reacted and tried to get weapon out of his car.
White guys reacted and beat him properly and left him.
Black guys calls victim and racist cards.

All at fault - throw them all in jail. A special **** award goes to race card puller.

Nothing gives you any right whatsoever to get out and beat them to a pulp, nothing and i sincerely hope you are not suggesting that it does.

Anyway, that was hardly a close call with death, even if the polo was in the wrong. I see idiots on the road doing crazy stuff everday a lot worse than that.

No, I'm just explaining why they probably got angry. This should go to court, and everyone will have to answer some very uncomfortable questions, including the "victim", who was also angry and now wants to cry crocodile tears as if he didn't want to fight and did absolutely nothing wrong.

It's OK to see the crazy stuff and feel detached, but when the crazy stuff nearly kills you? How do you feel then?

Get angry and move on. its that simple, and nobody came close to dying here by a long shot.
Maybe they all need to go to jail, maybe the 3 dudes that beat this guy have a counter argument, who knows.
It was all completely unnecessary.

I have been t-boned by a taxi that jumped a red light before and took pretty much the front engine compartment off my car. If I was a meter further forward across the intersection I would be dead as it hit me on the drivers side.
I checked if the guy in the taxi was ok, I didn't beat him to a pulp because he almost killed me.
The case ended up in court, over 2 years later where he said it was my fault, with his 'advocate' no less, probably compliments of the owner.
Luckily I had a long list of witnesses and he had none.
 
Guy in the polo was clearly in the wrong, then flashes his lights at the vehicle that did nothing wrong and then tries to get a weapon from his boot and complains he got his a** handed to him. Don't see anything wrong here, he got what he deserved. No sympathy whatsoever. He had a choice and decided to engage with these guys and came off second best.

Live by the sword die by the sword.

Google street view is pretty dated from other angles, but I believe this is the intersection (you can see the camera here).

Given that the road is empty for most of the video, one can assume that this was very late at night, so ppl will not always stop at red robots. Not to say that he should not have stopped.
