Late last night my significant other had a ‘feeling’ that today we would be capped so we decided to try and buy a prepaid ADSL voucher from our corner garage.
Axxess have been touting their recent deal with Engen to supply desperate Internet addicts like us with vouchers.
There is of course the usual online credit card payment to solve your capping woes but we happened to be in the car wondering if our account would last and decided to give it a go.
Personally I was dubious, especially when I asked the attendant for prepaid ADSL and she gave me a blank look but had the decency to throw a bundle of plastic voucher barcodes my way.
After ruffling through we actually came across Axxess 1GB, 2GB, 3GB and 5GB (can’t remember if there was a 10GB) vouchers.
It cost us R70-00 (VAT included) for the 1GB account and it came out on our till slip with a username and password.
We plugged in the necessary info and sure as Bob I’m now posting this blog thanks to prepaid.
