It took my stomach a few months to get used to the sudden increase in fiber. Taking vegan protein is the same as taking whey protein...it's not a meal replacement. It's a supplement. You should still eat other wholefoods for the rest of the nutrients you need daily.
I've been vegan for over 14 years. I'm very healthy and I have a very active lifestyle. I run marathons for funzies and I've been told multiple times that I look much younger than I am.
I think Tim was referring to a vegan powder.
I don't have a problem with whole foods, even if they are plant-based. My concern is when whole foods are turned into a powder.
