Massive flood of "natural" testosterone levels amoung womens athletes i the last few years. Natural evolution or result of using modern state sponsored doping techniques? Trangenders are allowed to compete, it is also unfair to women athletes.
 
Maybe she is a female, I do not know but she definitely looks like a male.
 
It would seem that sex classification, just like race classification is not as binary as we once thought it was. The XX or XY chromosome is clearly not enough to make a definite classification. Interesting this and I will be watching keenly as this development unfolds. For now we can say well done to Caster...she deserves all the praise for winning the gold.

Personally I feel they must stick to a testosterone limit for females.

For that they will have to provide a scientific and peer reviewed study that unequivocally indicates that high testosterone correlates with superior athletic performance regardless of other variables. Otherwise why would you single out testosterone if there are other factors at play?

Well done Caster, it takes balls to win a Olympic gold medal in womans race.
 
I’m proud that Caster Semenya has won an Olympic gold medal and to set a personal and new SA record. This beyond the criticism she had to endure, she is a tough cookie.

Any person questioning her validity in competing in women’s events is an idiot. Did she cheat?

She is an exceptional athlete, much like Bolt, Phelps, etc.
 
One's testosterone level has nothing to do with being male or female. These arguments are based on bogus science

Do you have the name(s) of the trans athletes competing? I would like to do some reading on the circumstances/conditions/events/disciplines/etc that they were permitted to compete in.

Just an FYI: 800-odd "elite" female athletes were tested between 2011-2013 after this whole debacle started and it was found that 99% of them had testosterone levels of 3.1 nmol/L or less. 1% had levels of 15 nmol/L or more, with the testosterone levels of a typical male ranging between 15-30 nmol/L.

Again, I would like the names of the "1%" to be revealed as it would stop Semenya from being an unfair single poster child of the issue.
