Cell C 3g down in Midrand?

Hi David - just an update. Improvement since Friday. Occasional hiccup during the day but not permanent. Still not as reliable as Vodacom or MTN that just seem to work whenever, but has improved.

There have been upgrades in the area, connection should stabilize. *DM*
 
Hi Cell_C,
It looks like not only in Midrand, but is surrounding areas too. Last few days network is much more smooth, no more occasional delays, perhaps backbone connection is upgraded and we might be connected to the same routers. Do you confirm this?
Tower details: LAC 55, RNC 103, CellID 13563. Signal improved slightly by 3dBm. Knoppieslaaghte near Diepsloot.

Hi DM was fine until this weekend, back to the old problems. It can't maintain a signal, it connects and disconnects and doesn't transmit data.

Hi lived666, There were major network upgrades last weekend around Midrand and Centurion. Usually this shouldn't affect your connection. But let me know if the problem persists today. *DM*

It wasn't working this morning so switched to Vodacom, busy enjoying the speed, will advise when I switch sims if Cell C back on.
 
Yip. Cellc back to old non-service. Can't authenticate this morning in Centurion. This past year has been the worst internet experience. I can't wait for my contract to expire. I am already advising people to stay away from cellc

No connection in Villieria Pretoria this morning, No connection in Centurion, and now sitting in Midrand, here it actually shows 3G, but nothing, have to work via Wifi.
 
Ag no man. There is no connection in Pretoria Mooikloof :( Looks like this is a big issue.
 
No connection in Centurion Zwartkop and Pretoria Menlyn... some feedback from CellC would be nice
 
Down in Pretoria - Rietfontein. No 3g signal on my phone but my 3g modem showed full signal but I could not connect at all.

I stay close to Rietfontein, same problem, 3G does not even appear, same in Centurion, no 3G indicator. in midrand it shows but simply does not work. Now i have to use my companies Wifi which basically blocks everything besides News24.
Simply amazing, im so happy!! :-)

Some of the work done in Pretoria and Johannesburg failed last night, the issue has been identified and our technicians are currently working to resolve the issue.

@ Cel C rep, its now past mid day and still no internet connection, is this even allowed? So much for your I believe crap, really frustrating
