Cell-C Dual SIM / Data SIM / Multi SIM?

does Cell C have a system for Dual Sims ( 2 Sims with the same number)?
 
Cell-C Dual SIM?

Well, I got my whoosh at lunch time today ;) Excited to fire it up this evening when I get home.

Cell_C, is it possible to activate two sim cards on the account? ie Have both my wife and I browsing away on the same data bundle concurrently (assuming an existing modem or laptop with built in 3g).

Oh shame as I am on prepaid.... wouldn't mind paying a small once-off fee for the extra data sim
Can Cell C look into making this happen?

Are you really looking for a Dual SIM (2 SIMS with the same number, only one of which can be on the network at a time), or something like Vodacom's Data SIM (2 SIMS with different numbers, but sharing the same data bundle)?

Not bothered about the number....looking for a solution to share the same data bundle....

So it's not available on the prepaid R1499 bundle, but should be on the R149pm package?

You are right. Is only on contract packages that you can activate a dual sim.

dual sim phone != dual sims with 1 account != data sim

+1 Cell_C - is there any way of making this happen? Would be fantastic if my wife and I could share the bundle.
 
I'm thinking they mean like Vodacoms data SIM.

That'd be awesome actually. Buy a 5GB and have both my netbook and desktop share the data available
 
Hi Cell_C

I went to Cell C yesterday to get the 5GB data contract and also get the dual sim, so I can use 1 sim on my laptop and the other for my Ipad.
I got the contract but they guys at Cell C insist that they cannot give me a dual sim on the data contract (apparently only possible on a voice contract).
Please can you urgently assist me with this matter? Or if you can't who can I speak to in Cell C to get my dual sim?

Really would like the "data" sim on the prepaid deal so that when I travel I can be connected and the wife can use the same data bundle at home.

Will Cell C not work at all on my iPad? Or will I just not be able to access their fast network speeds?
After you mentioned the above I started researching it and someone mentioned that you might be able to use Cell C but u wont get the speed.
Any idea if this is true?
