Cell-C / IS "fixed" LTE

My APN was set to "lte.broadband.is" and then they asked me to test and set my APN to "internet"

But there was no difference.
I set it back to "lte.broadband.is" and this morning everything works fast again. I hope for it to stay fast. :)
 
I tried Cell C Fixed LTE, Rain Mobile LTE and Telkom LTE.

Disclaimer: Where I live

Cell C is terrible: 1 Mbps
Rain is excellent: 40 Mbps down, 15 Mbps up (but peak charges of R50/GB)
Telkom is excellent: 40 Mbps down, 15 Mbps up

So I got Rain and Telkom and load balanced it. So for R1,000/month I can get 80 Mbps down and 30 Mbps up. (unfortunately the router is a bit confused with time slots, so it'a an all or nothing situation, either 80/30 or 40/15).

Where I Live it's the opposite

Cell C - 35Mbps down and 20Mbps up.

Rain - 10Mbps(sometimes 20Mbps but for Short period) down and 2Mbps

Good morning Axxess

Please can you check why my cellc simcard has stopped working.
It was still working last night. Now it will not connect to the cell c
network anymore.

I have tested using my prepaid CellC simcard and that works fine.

But my sim from Axxess stopped working sometime last night. I also tried
the sim on my phone. I get a message that the sim has not been provisioned.
 
Service down in Joburg.

Seems like it was down since early am. Call logged at 08:00

Apologies for the inconvenience. We have had some reports in regards to no connection on CellC service, red on status light. We have logged a ticket with our upstream provider.
 
Cell C LTE-A been working 100% for me the last 2 weeks. No restarts or disconnections. Speed tests between 45 and 70 Mbps Download.
Very happy.

The past two months the service from Axxess/Cell-C fixed LTE has been terrible. For a span of 4 days during September the network was down and not a damn thing was communicated outside of "the network is down', no **** it's down everyone is well aware of that.

NewBiks, What area are you using the Cell-C LTE service?
 
Just died here, all lights normal on router and the router says it's connected, but internet is completely dead
