Cell-C / IS "fixed" LTE

Down on some of our connections again tongight (Centurion). Internet Solutions appear to be having issues almost on a daily basis since that major national outage last week.

Last night, Probably around 12 ~ 1am I woke up and noticed its down. Was Up when I got up this morning. But ja this service was Rock Solid until the outage last week, now its intermittent

Thanks for the feedback guys, hopefully this is just a temporary issue then cause when it's working it's working way better than my ADSL ever did.

Mine just went down again ffs. Everyday without fail what's going on.

Hi lilggg

Hey, i don't think my issue today was a cell-c issue. Webafrica's top-up info may be displaying incorrect amounts. I was capped even though webafrica's customer zone said i had only used 2/10gb topup. After topping up another GB everything is working.

I'm moving house and there is coverage a few blocks away based on the map. It's a double story house, so perhaps it will have coverage upstairs.

How do I test if there is coverage? Can I use my phone to test?

According to the coverage map, there's coverage all around me but not at my house. There's coverage at addresses 10 or so houses up the street from me and also 5 houses down the street from me, so I guess it should work. Is anyone on fixed LTE also just outside the coverage area and how is your connection?
Oh I'm in Elardus park Pretoria.

Which map are you looking at? Either way it should work.

Yeah get a cell c prepaid card and do reception/speed test. Just make sure the sim is lte enabled (I almost think this is the default these days). Alternatively, invite a buddy with a Cell C LTE phone over for a beer.

I've got a Sony Z3 with an FNB sim (Cell C) and get LTE at my currently location in Melkbos.

Ok, so let me get this right, if I can get LTE on my phone then the Axxess Cell C fixed LTE should work?

Which router should I get? The Huawei B315 or B618?

Yep just get b315 not worth to get b618 on cellc. Just BTW do you get 4g+ on fnb?

I get LTE on my Z3 (it's nearly 4 years old).

The B618 Axxess supplies is the 22d, I believe that one doesn't work on Telkom, correct? Does the B315?
