Cell-C / IS "fixed" LTE

I had the same issue last night, did a factory reset of the router and nothing worked. Initially thought the settings were F'd up after the reset. Anyone can confirm services are up now?

Mine went down sometime in the last 3 hours... And this after struggling with 1-2 Mbps download since Sunday.

Seems just as I get used to the service working as advertised, it breaks again.

Rebooted and then got message stating that my profile is invalid. I've been using the default profile for months now. Changed to lte.broadband.is APN and now it works!

Speed is also better at 8Mbps download.

Tried that, still offline.

Okay screw this. This is literally the worst internet in existence currently. It was all perfectly fine a few months ago with stable high speeds. Now, for the last few weeks, CONSTANT 0.5-1.5mbps download, but freaking 10-25mbps upload? Not to mention 500ms ping+ ALL THE TIME. This is with full signal and ONE user connected via Ethernet. Such a disappointing turn out to such a promising service, cant wait to get rid of this horse ****. I STRONGLY advise to not go for this ‘service’ to anyone thinking about it.

Internet was down for about 2 hours last night!!!!!!!

I can't believe they are shaping me for R845 a month. I mean how between 6 PM - 11 PM, most of us only get home that time.

Cape Town

I have a theory as i mentioned in another thread. Since i upgraded to the 200gb i seem to be shaped at night. Anybody on the 200gb not affected, which would rule this out i guess?

Where you based, where and how are you testing shaping?

Durban, i'm just assuming it's shaping cos speedtest is fine. And it drops from 10mbps to around 10 - 40kbps at 7pm every night.

On downloads as opposed to speedtest?

Yup, same sites i download from everyday give me 10 - 20mbps during the day, night time cant get over 40kbps. It could just be congestion i guess.
