Cell C ready for a fight

Hedberg says Cell C will continue to do things that irk its rivals, chipping away at their market share. This includes a plan to cut prices — something it will be able to do fairly aggressively if the Independent Communications Authority of SA intervenes, as expected, in the wholesale call-termination market.

When will ICASA intervene though? When?

^^ that is really the only question

c'mon journo types - rpm / duncan - go and find out what has happened to the single most important intervention in telecoms pricing....

i think cell c is quite crappy really, and 1 of the reasons is that their understanding of per-second billing is "per-second" after the first minute. the only reason my weekend phone is cell c is they always give me better handset, which i would hav 2 fork out a fortune 2 get on voda. and then i use my weekend minutes, and no more...
