If I go this route, does this mean I can't use club VIP (KFM/Highveld) and other sms competitions anymore?
 
Does anyone know if its technically possible for a WASP opt you in, just by visiting a website via your Android/Other device? Ie. by not giving them your details via a form over the web.
 
More good news for Cell C subscribers!

First Vodacom, then Cell C. And MTN will (hopefully) follow in a few years time. You never manage to exceed our low expectations of you, do you MTN?
 
Good move Vodacom and Cell C, although to announce this now for implementation some time 2013 is a bit of a marketing ply, except to say 'we agree you should get this, but you're not getting it now.'

OK, we understand - if your team are developing 99c products to shake the market - please let them continue.

Is it dream world to expect the following service:

1. From MTN
2. Only WASPA members are allowed to send you any type of bulk sms.
3. You can unsubscribe via one SMS to all WASPA members

This sounds excellent. I will be phoning tomorrow to put this block on all my CellC numbers!

Please add:
Block account from all subscriptions, no matter who they are.
From someone who has been severely done in on the MTN network. (Ported my whole family's numbers)
