Cell C Woes

I used to be quite a happy Cell C customer, (since Cell C started) until about 18 months ago.

I had a lot of contracts with them, their service was good, their network worked (better than their competitors at the time) and they didn't screw up their billing (like their competitors) - I was very happy and advised friends and family to join Cell C.

Sadly, their customer has declined, their network hardly worked during the day and now, they've messed up with the billing too!

Attempts to fix the issue have not helped and, in fact, they have not even responded to recent emails.

According to hellopeter, in the past 12 months, there have been 8684 reports, 92% of them being negative.

I suppose that before long, Cell C will cease operating.

People only complain on Hellopeter so dont look at the %. Look at MTN and Vodacom, just as many complaints

But they have much more subscribers as well. If you do a complaint vs number of subscribers chart that would make it more telling and from doing that in the past cellc did not fare well at all.
