Cellc LTE-A on S8

Snapdragon, yes. The international Exynos variant which we get in SA doesn't.

Interesting.

Anyways do you perhaps know in which band Cellc has the most spectrum for lte? 2100MHz vs 1800MHz. Cellc has LTE on both bands.

It is LTE Advanced capable but Cellc network is just uhhmmm how can I say useless. Samsung approved the changes to have bandwidth requirements changed. There was an update but it did not fix the issue.

Cellc after my intense investigation said my S8 was connecting to LTE A but not showing it. I dispute this because they are refusing to provide me with proof that they claim they have.

As you can see from your speedtest above those are speeds from a Cellc congested LTE network. There is not many LTE A devices out there so I highly doubt that their LTE A can be so congested to give less than 10Mbps.

I get 90mbps+ on my Cell C LTE Network in Cape Town. Vodascam, MTN and Telkom is the the opposite side. Never got over 60mbps with them. Cell C rules here. Everywhere i am always good signal and super fast speed. Stop bad mouthing Cell C. They trying they best. It not rubbish anymore in the past. I guess its better ppl to stay off Cell C to avoid congestion. Telkom LTE used to be very fast not anymore now. Get about 15 - 35 mbps. Im getting Axxess Fixed LTE A Cell C soon. Cant wait
