CellC : LTE or LTE-A

Hi All

How is the gaming latency and pings to some of your gaming servers? on Cell-C LTE or CellC LTE-A. What pings do you guys get.


League of Legends : ping 104.160.141.3 -t

Diablo 3 Battlenet EU server : ping 185.60.112.157

and then a general one. Google DNS pings 8.8.8.8 : ping 8.8.8.8



What pings do you get on your LTE or LTA-A (please let me know if you get LTE or LTE-A in your area. and what area that is)

Cape Town, about three months ago I was averaging about 195ms latency on LTE.
ADSL on Crystal Web I get about 165ms.

On 3G it was fluctuating between 200 and 350ms, it's quite unstable. You can game fine on LTE.

All of it to LoL EUW.

LTE: Midrand, close to Diepsloot, signal low.

180-205ms, on average 190

Google DNS is a local server: 18-28ms, on average 22ms

Those pings are looking good. i'm on ADSL and get around 170 to 190ms standard

I've purchased an Telkom LTE sim this morning. (I've got an Samsung S7 Edge cellphone, which supports LTE and LTE-A upto 450mbit)

I'll play a game or two of CSGO and League of legends later.. see how it goes.
