Its been almost 3 weeks and I am still waiting for the two iphones I ordered with cellucity.I'm waiting for both phones to arrive, but until now every time they just give me another stupid excesses ranging from the the driver did not pickup the phones, the manager ordered the wrong phone and Vodacom extended the estimate time of arrival, nice blame you supplier.

Only after having to email and ask the Tyger valley branch manager did he tell me that the phone would only arrive in two more days. But he can give me a loan phone, almost 3 weeks and I only get offered one now.

I have had good service perviously from cellucity, but it seems if they don't have stock of the item, rater just save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Think there staff and managers should attend a course about how to set the correct client expectation.

Has anyone else had the same problems?

Goto their website - email the CEO - I've done it a few times, he's pretty good at responding (in a day or two).

I have cc'd him on the email I send the Branch manager. Lets hope he speed things up. I have actually noticed now that they have not even once apologised.

Normally what we do if we dont have stock of one item we ask the other branches to send us the required stock which normally arrives within 2 days thats if a other branch has stock to spare. But seeing as its a iphone its understandable the they could not get stock from the other branches probably.

still waiting

Have not heard anything from the CEO.

The date also changed for the 7th Time. Yesterday the Manager said the 17th, now its "We hope this week and vodacom does not change the ETA".

Strange thing is a friend of mine popped in the to a vodashop and they informed him vodacom will not be getting any more Iphone 3G 8gig.

So basically cellucity sold me 2x headsets their supplier is not importing anymore, nice.

I prefer Nashua or Vodashop. Cellucity seems dodgy to me.

Man - Cellucity service has gone down the drain.

Called Canal Walk now, to ask about the Nokia 1208 stock, advertised here for R249. He says they have stock - so I ask if I need to bring anything besides the R249 - he then says I can't have it at R249 -so I ask why not, as thats what they advertised it as - apparently they haven't received stock of the R249 version of exactly the same #$%$#% phone. So why advertise it - dumbasses.

All I was looking for was a cheap cellphone to use while I decide on a new one.

I bought one for R180 from Game. You can go buy one now from them for R100 less

Ordered my iPhone from Vodacom Direct about a week or so ago and they mentioned then that there was no stock in the country. New stock arriving 'middle of this month', so hopefully we should get our phones next week.

Funnily enough I went into Cellucity in Kenilworth centre to get this phone, stood for about 5 minutes with the 2 staff talking to other people pretending I didn't exist, so just walked out.

And again - thanks - back from Game - proud owner of the super-advanced Nokia 1208 for R179. (strangely, I didn't even get a starter pack).
