Changed to US iTunes, lost media, will changing back bring it back?

Hi all, noobish question,due to stupid oversight.

As per title, if I change back to SA account, will the previously purchased music and movies (it was purchased before moving to US account) reappear for download and streaming?

This all happened when I tried to set up Apple TV with Netflix for a friend, but since he is using a VPN service (no landline adsl; uses 3G router) and streams via his Airplay from Mac to Apple TV, there is no need to be changing account region to US. I think.

He has a ton of music.

Searching the net provided sort-off mixed answers. Thanks for any quick answers (of possible)

Yes, it should do. I switch amongst 3 iTunes accounts (US, UK & SA) regularly.

iTunes/Account/Authorize This Computer... Should see purchase from all accounts then. Apps will have to be updated from the store they were bought in 'tho.

How do I switch to SA account from US? My credit is sitting at $1.95 and ITunes won't let me switch unless my credit is zero. Only reason for wanting to do this is to use family sharing, which requires credit card linked, but I never use credit card-only vouchers.
