It would be interesting to throw in someone using Active Ethernet, because OS, Octotel and Frogfoot are all PON.
No changes on our side, so can't advise. Not pointing fingers at OS. Our graphs are the same. Remember your external ping comes via external paths and your OS ping is technically internal.Paul not sure what you did but the network seems a lot more stable from yesterday around 4pm. I have not seen any big dips in speed on my end and the other test site is also stable at this stage. We will still monitor for the rest of the weekend.
When you say the spikes should not be there then what is causing it. Before you say it is OS, we see the same spikes from the other sites around the world pointing to that server via the global cloud ping. They are not all on the OS network. The only thing in common is your network.
That should technically make things worse as usage and network usage is higherSo around the time everyone goes home for the weekend?![]()
OK, I'm in. I'm on Vumatel, so have started gathering tests every 10 mins against the Cool Ideas test server. Will plot the results on Sunday evening.
@Coop are you logged in to the CI network ? If so great. The we have another test site.

@coop I can send you some new code and then your feed will be logged to the emon cloud.

@jacof wouldn't mind taking part as well, 100/100mbps on TT connect using CI as an isp?
@coop your feed is live. Thanks. Love your speed Mmmmmm
We don't see the same, so please mail me what you are seeing on your graphing?Stating the obvious. Still does not tell me why I see the same thing on the internal and external paths. You can not blame OS in this case as the paths from all over show the same spikes on the pings.
I signed up for a vox fatpipe account yesterday, was only really planning on having a look at their site but it was SO easy. Switched the router over and did quite a few speedtests. The result is basically exactly the same as WA. Going to try a different router.
86/47ishWhat are the results?
86/47ish
Will give that a shot later.Easiest way to rule out ISP would be to use the Openserve guest account
